12 weeks old

On Thursday, Henry turned 12 weeks old. WHERE HAS THE TIME GONE!? He'll be three months old this next week. I just can't believe it!

This week Henry has been falling asleep on his own (yay!), and even better--sleeping through the night (triple yay!). I don't want to jinx ourselves though, because the past 2 nights he's gotten up for food after only sleeping for 4-5 hours. But during the work week he was a champion, which I definitely appreciated. Hopefully he'll keep it up this week, so I won't be a complete zombie at work!

sitting up? what!?

So I was texting Sarah yesterday about how Henry was doing, and she told me he could sit up on his own. Whaaaaaat!?!?! After having a brief meltdown over missing this monumental (to me) moment [and having to work, blah blah blah], I was super excited and so proud of my little stud! Thank you Sarah for taking pictures for me:

Keep in mind Henry is only 12 weeks old. Basically....he's a genius. My baby can totally beat up your baby!!

instagram fun

i just downloaded instagram on the ipad a couple days ago, and i love it. naturally i just take a ton of pictures of henry of course. i've also perfected the screen shot on the ipad so i can just keep taking pictures of him and emailing them to myself so i am not constantly posting a billion henry pictures on my instagram feed haha. (btw, my username is yourstrulydear, if you want to follow).

One of my favorite things about being home with Henry is the catnaps he takes with me, and when he falls asleep on me. It is just so adorable. This picture is from this morning--I was sitting in bed and Henry was sleeping on me. I had to go get something so I put him down on the bed and he stayed asleep like this.

That is, until he realized he was kind of hungry and started crying... Good thing he's so freaking cute!
