tub graduation

About a week and a half ago, Henry had a graduation. From high school. Just kidding, from the baby tub! Now that he can sit up all on his own, we plopped him in the regular tub. He was SO PROUD of himself for being able to be in the big tub. It was hilarious. In my usual fashion, I took a billion pictures. And a video. Enjoy:

7th months old

On Sunday Henry turned seven months old...I can't believe my little baby is already 7 months!! I know I say that every month, but it's so true! Seriously, it's like the past 7 months are just a blur. I'm realizing how much he's grown and developed, and how I've already forgotten so many little details already. I keep thinking "I need to remember all of these moments!!" Just today I was playing with him and remembered when his head used to be all floppy and we'd have to hold it all the time... Now he jumps around and we can throw him up in the air and tote him around like it's no big deal.

In the past month we started solid foods, and he's a pro eater. He loves broccoli, pumpkin, bananas, and sweet potato. He hasn't really hated any foods, except he didn't like avocado the first few times he tried it. We tried it again just a little while back and he did better.

He talks all the time, although it's just babbling still at this point. Mostly "baba" and "dada" noises. He likes standing up when you hold him, jumping when you hold him, jumping in his bouncer, and being on his belly/hands and knees. He smiles and laughs all the time, and he is such a happy baby (thank goodness!).

Also this past month he has been to Vegas, gone swimming for the first time, and (as you can see from the tons of videos I've been posting lately) he's super close to crawling. Which is both awesome and frightening at the same time (our house is full of hazards!!).
