9 month appointment

Yesterday was Henry's nine month doctors appointment. The doctor was very pleased with all of Henry's growth and progress, and was amazed that he looks so much like a big boy! Here are his stats:

Weight: 18.92 lbs -- 33.75%
Length: 27.5" -- 13%
Head circumference: 18" -- 68.5%

The weight increase was awesome! At his last appointment his weight percentage was only 15.94%.  So he's still a shrimp, but a slightly beefier shrimp ;) It's also funny how short he is, because in real life he actually looks very tall. And he's basically destined to be tall, since we're giants... I guess he's just taking his sweet time, and using optical illusions to make up for it in the meantime.

Oh, he also hugged our doctor. It was adorable. (We love our doctor). I was holding him after she examined him, and he wanted to go to her. So she took him and he did his little head rest thing on her shoulder. It was so cute, we both went "awww!" So its official, my baby is the sweetest little munchkin in the whole world!

9 months old

Yesterday Henry turned nine months old!! I'm not positive on the math, but I'm pretty sure he's been alive now for longer than I was pregnant with him. Ahhhh! In the past month he's been a crawling champion, he loves climbing up the stairs, and he can pull himself up into a standing position. He's been drinking out of a straw (he loves his juice!). He got to sit in the grocery cart by himself. And he's gotten his first tooth (his bottom right tooth). So he's been doing a lot of growing up, and it's pretty crazy.

 Henry's getting into EVERYTHING and is so curious and mischievous. He's definitely been keeping us busy and entertained. He loves to laugh, and loves to make us laugh. He's the biggest cutie and I can't get enough of him!!! His 9 month doctors appointment is in just over a week, and we'll get to find out all his stats. And thankfully for him, it will be a shot-free appointment (yay!).
